God does not merely give us an assignment, He empowers us for the assignment. The difference between human effort and Spirit enabled ministry is evident in the lives of the apostles. When we are truly filled with God, fear should not have the final word. The presence of opposition does not cancel our responsibility to speak the truth. One genuine encounter with the power of God can change the direction of a person's life. God can take someone who was moving in the wrong direction and turn that same passion toward His purpose. A genuine encounter with God should move us beyond experience into obedience. God encounters us not only to bless us, but also to position us for His purpose. Opposition does not necessarily mean we are outside God's will. Sometimes, faithfulness to the assignment requires us to continue even when the path becomes difficult. The effectiveness of God's work through us is not ultimately dependent on our natural qualifications. What matters is our availability, obedience, and dependence on the Holy Spirit.
